Thank you to everyone who has attended our last two official Georgia Furs meets at the Marietta Diner!! Both meets had a great turn out of over 30 people, and it looks like everyone had a great time. Lots of new faces showed up, and even some which we hadn’t seen in a while.

Also a special thank you to the Marietta Diner and our wonderful waitress Annie for taking care of us, and making us all feel right at home. Fast service, great food, and the best waitress in Atlanta make this a spot we look forward to coming back to again and again. I have been very happy with the results we have gotten from the new GeorgiaFurs.com. In just 15 days we have already reached over 75 members, and the forum has been very active. During the two weeks the site has been open, we have already seen three other fur meets being formed around the state, meaning the goal of Georgia Furs is being fulfilled.

We will continue to be doing more weekly events, plus other bigger events that are in the works, so keep checking back, and thank you to everyone who has attended or ran a meet, posted or registered on the forum, or participated in anyway. You are the Georgia Furs, and you make this site and community possible. Thank you!!

Welcome to the new GeorgiaFurs.com, the place for all furries of the peach state to come together.

Did you know the Atlanta metro area area has over 280 furs alone? So just think how many furries total there really are in the state of Georgia, and more importantly how many have yet to be discovered or come out. That’s where the new GeorgiaFurs.com comes in. One website for everything furry in the state of Georgia. Whether you want to find furry meets near you, get to know local furries, or just see what the local fandom has to offer, GeorgiaFurs.com is the place to be.

Here you will be able to find out events happening in your area such as local meets, parties, charity events, and conventions; or if you want to host an event yourself, just let us know and we can post it and help spread the word. Since this is “Georgia” Furs, we want to welcome furs from all over the peach state to post their events so that anyone interested can join. We make that easy by dividing each section of the state into it’s own category, so you can find your local meets and events with no problem.

GeorgiaFurs.com also gives you a place to get to know and chat with other furs at our Forum. There you can introduce yourself, talk about local happenings in the fandom, or whatever else you want to chat about. Just remember this is a drama free zone, and we aim to keep it that way, so play nice with others.

As we move forward, we will be adding more features to help bring together our fandom within the state such as, a gallery, detailed profiles, and more. As always we are open to suggestions about what you would like to see on the site, just let us know on the forum.
